Diploma Pick Up

Students who have completed their requirements and have been awarded their degrees on the system will receive an email informing them to complete the online diploma clearance process on E-Requests. If the student has any “holds,” he/she must resolve them before applying for the diploma clearance process.

Instructions:

Choose your degree from the drop-down list, which includes all degrees you have completed at LAU (if you have more than one).

If you have more than 1 degree to be picked up, submit a separate request for each degree.

If you cannot come in person, you must specify the name of the authorized person to pick up the diploma on your behalf. An ID card (national ID, passport, etc.) is mandatory when picking up the diploma, regardless of who is picking up the diploma.

This can be stated either in the “Comment” field on E-Requests when completing the diploma clearance process or via e-mail to the Registrar’s Office of the student’s campus (registrar.beirut@lau.edu.lb for Beirut campus OR registrar.byblos@lau.edu.lb for Byblos campus).

Please note that the official diploma is the only original diploma provided by the Registrar’s Office. Students should refrain from submitting the original diploma to third parties (embassies, employers, etc.), and instead present authenticated copies upon need (e.g. for job applications).

Degree authentication requests are submitted via E-Requests and can be requested only after the student has picked up his/her original diploma.

Official diploma pickup is free of charge, whereas degree authentications have an accompanied fee which is specified on E-Requests.

For lost diplomas, please refer to the Duplicate Degree Request (for Lost Degrees) section.
