Degree Authentication

As previously mentioned in the Diploma Pick Up section, students should present degree authentications to third parties (embassies, companies, etc.) upon need (e.g. for job applications) instead of the original LAU diploma.

Degree authentication requests require 2–3 working days to be completed. Similar to other requests, students receive an e-mail once the authenticated degrees are ready for pick up.

Degree authentication requests are submitted via E-Requests and can be requested only after the student has picked up his/her original diploma.

When submitting a degree authentication request, students must upload a clear white PDF scan of their degree without the LAU cover (i.e. remove the degree from the LAU cover, scan it and save it in PDF format, and attach the PDF file to the request).

Disclaimer: LAU is only responsible for preparing the requested documents (if applicable) and is not responsible to advise on which documents to request for paperwork outside LAU. You are requested to check with the ministry, embassy, third party entity for the required documents.
