Minor

Students can work for a minor by completing the minor’s requirements with a minimum GPA of 2.00.  A minor is granted upon completion of at least 18 credits in a specific field outside one’s major. For fulfilling the requirements of a minor, a student must take a minimum of nine additional credits relevant to the minor from outside his/her program of study. These requirements should be completed before a student earns her/his bachelor’s degree.

Please note that no diploma is issued for the minor. Instead, the completed minor is mentioned on the official transcript and any other document requested by the student from the Registrar’s Office with respect to degrees awarded.
