Registrar’s Office

Final Exam Schedule

During the semester, and before the final exam period, the Scheduling Unit at Registrar’s Office sends an e-mail to all schools, requesting them to confirm whether or not a final exam is required for each course that was offered during the semester.

Accordingly, each school confirms whether a final exam is required for each course. Moreover, the school also confirms whether a common exam needs to be set for several sections in case it is applicable.

Tutorial courses cannot have a final exam scheduled for them under any circumstances.

For cases where a time conflict exists in the final exam schedule of a student (usually due to cross-campus registrations), then this time conflict must be resolved by the instructor of the course that was offered in the campus to which the student cross-registered.

For example: a Beirut campus student cross-registered a course in Byblos campus and faced a time conflict in his/her final exam schedule. Accordingly, the instructor of the course that was offered in Byblos campus must settle this time conflict by scheduling a make-up exam for the student.

It is the responsibility of the student to notify the Registrar’s Office of any time conflict in their final exam schedule.
